About Amherst Haven
What if every resident in a quiet town was hiding a secret... and every secret was connected?
Amherst Haven is a psychological horror and supernatural suspense novel that blends seven interconnected stories into one unforgettable mystery. At first, each tale appears to stand alone. A mysterious charm. A disturbing reflection. A phone call that should never have been answered. A family searching for a fresh start. But with every chapter, hidden threads begin pulling the stories together until the shocking finale reveals the truth behind Amherst Haven itself.
Set in a town where reality bends and the past refuses to stay buried, the novel introduces unforgettable characters who unknowingly become part of something far older and more terrifying than they could ever imagine. Ghostly encounters, unexplained disappearances, buried guilt, and supernatural forces all converge as the mystery surrounding Amherst Haven grows darker with every page.
Unlike traditional horror novels that follow a single protagonist, Amherst Haven allows readers to experience the town through multiple perspectives. Every character brings a new piece of the puzzle, creating an immersive reading experience filled with suspense, emotional depth, and unexpected twists.
The novel explores themes of guilt, grief, redemption, family, and the consequences of choices that refuse to stay hidden. Beneath the supernatural horror lies a deeply human story about the secrets people carry and the price of trying to escape the past.
Readers who enjoy psychological horror, paranormal fiction, mystery, haunted towns, and interconnected storytelling will find themselves drawn into the world of Amherst Haven. Fans of atmospheric suspense and slow-building supernatural mysteries will discover a story that rewards careful attention and leaves a lasting impression.

Amherst Haven by Terry M Wall is an enchanting supernatural horror novel that takes us on a guided tour of the quaint world of Amherst Haven. Walking down its fog-covered streets, we will meet the residents of Amherst Haven and learn their secrets. Seven short stories that make up this novel initially feel like standalones, until the final story’s chilling revelations bind all the residents of Amherst Haven into a single universe with the episodes of their lives they are trying to bury for good. So, how are the realtor, the policewoman, the senior couple who greet every new resident, the children for whom the school bus never stops, a clairvoyant, a doctor, and an absent husband who offers a jumper cable to a neighbor connected to Amherst Haven?
Terry M Wall’s Amherst Haven is one of the most enthralling horror novels I have read recently. Starting with its irresistible cover and intriguing story titles, this book absorbed me instantly. As a fan of paranormal fiction, I thoroughly enjoyed every story and appreciated the nerve-tickling supernatural manifestations. Reading this book felt like a blood-chilling guided ghost tour, but with the difference — on this tour, it was often impossible to tell the ghouls from the living. And on a deeper level, I appreciated how the novel exposed human flaws and errors that kept the characters unsettled both alive and after death. But most of all, I liked the breathtaking ending that merged all the stories into an impressive, thought-provoking finale. If you like paranormal fiction, this remarkable novel will not disappoint you!
